Shawna Potter is the front-person for Baltimore band War On Women and the author of Making Spaces Safer: A Guide to Giving Harassment the Boot Wherever You Work, Play, and Gather, a practical guide based on her Safer Space Program. Through her music and her work, Shawna has been empowering people to make their community more fun and inclusive for over a decade.

Over the pandemic, Shawna expanded her safety skill set by training to become an Intimacy Professional for both theater and film. She also hosts the podcast But Her Lyrics… (supported by her incredible Patreon community), is ordained to perform wedding ceremonies, and runs Big Crunch Amp Repair.

She is available for Intimacy Coordination & Direction, speaking engagements, workshops & trainings, music collaborations, appearances, interviews, consultations and coachings, and other special projects.
